Symposium

The subject is “Multiversions”

• Differing versions existing around a single title, due to reasons such as: censorship, dubbing, co-productions, director’s cut, etc.
• Is it possible to speak of a single original version?
• How may they be catalogued?
• What must be maintained?
• What are the criteria for restoration?

Exhibition

A self-produced exhibition and the publication of a catalogue will illustrate the range of multiversions.

Screenings

To illustrate the content of the symposium, Filmoteca de Catalunya will schedule a programme of representative films. These sessions will be open to the public.

Terrassa

Visit to the new Conservation Centre of the Filmoteca de Catalunya (Audiovisual Park of Terrassa) and to the Film and Audiovisual School of Catalonia (ESCAC).

Girona

Visit to the Cinema Museum-Tomàs Mallol Collection.
