Screenings

Although the Slovenian Cinematheque theatre will not be refurnished by the beginning of the Congress, an appropriate theatre will be provided for the screenings. We are preparing an accompanying film programme encompassing three areas:

– a brief review of the history of Slovenian cinema including a short presentation of films,
ethnographic films relating to the symposium topics, presented by experts and congress participants,
– recently renewed and restored films preceded by short presentations of the work done, and followed by discussions on methods and issues tackled while renewing or restoring.
